12 Days

It's 12 days until my birthday. I'll be turn 24 and I can't help but thank God for his blessings. There's so many places I could be right now. So many things i could be doing (not all positive.) but I'm here. I gotta job, (my own) apartment, people that love me, peers that respect me, a car, food on my table, money in my pocket and the most beautiful baby girl. Every birthday I look back at the past year and reflect. There's always a revelation on my bday. I sometimes feel like I've grown 3 yrs older while most age year by year. I know my responsibilities. I know what needs to be done to be successful in this life and I'm working on it. Everyday we strive to do better in some way. Even when I'm we're laying on our back, there'
